The former president's Family Member Receives Professional Guidance from Tiger Woods Prior to LPGA Debut

Emerging athlete getting ready for significant competition

This young athlete boasts impressive social media presence

Kai Trump can count on numerous high-profile backers when she begins her professional golf debut this Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who is connected to Donald Trump, was granted a sponsor's invitation to play at the Annika competition in Florida.

The former president, an avid golfer, owns several golf courses and regularly competes against his granddaughter.

"He's fairly competent. I can't say much but we play tight competitions," she mentioned.

She mentioned that her grandfather, who won't be present, advised her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"He basically suggested to compete and have fun," she added.

"From my perspective, he's just a regular grandfather. He won't be there this weekend. He's focused on presidential duties, making him rather occupied."

Being non-professional, the golfer has played in a mere three competitions recently and maintains the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.

But she can get advice from 15-time major champion, in a relationship with Kai's mother.

"He represents the top athlete worldwide," Kai stated.

"Furthermore, he's a more impressive individual. He told me to play, enjoy myself, following whatever happens."

Kai will face some of most prominent players in professional golf at this tournament, such as world number two Nelly Korda, England's Charley Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

The LPGA mentioned that Kai's presence exposes the sport to wider groups, especially with the next generation.

The social media influencer maintains a massive following and recently launched her own clothing and lifestyle company.

Her first tee time at late afternoon GMT.
